Jessica Mauboy, Empire of the Sun and AC/DC have been nominated for ARIA Awards.

Mauboy has the lead with seven nominations while Empire Of The Sun are up for six gongs.

AC/DC have also made the nominations list for the very first time with a potentially four ARIA’s going to the band if they win this year.

AC/DC were inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 1988 but have never won an award.
