The Morning Of The Earth concert will be resurrected for the Manly Festival of Surfing.
Brian Cadd put on the 35-year old surf classic Morning Of The Earth on stage last year with artists like G. Wayne Thomas and Taman Shud from the original soundtrack and Mike Rudd, Lior and Old Man River covering the songs from the movie.The show at Sydney’s North Head Sanctuary will feature Cadd with Tim Gaze from Taman Shud, Mike Rudd, Lior and Old Man River.
Morning Of The Earth is recognised as ne of the greatest surf movies ever made. Albert Falzon created the film in the 70s. It first screened at the Manly Silver Screen Theatre in 1972.
The 2009 Sydney show will be a sunset concert on the green.
