Liza Minnelli will include all of her signature hits in her forthcoming Australian tour.
Liza’s three big ones, ‘Caberet’, ‘Maybe This Time’ and ‘Theme From New York, New York’ were written for her by Broadway songwriting team John Kander and Fred Ebb.The Aussie shows will be based on her Broadway show ‘Liza’s At The Palace’.
In a statement at her official website, Liza says, “An Australian Tour! I can't tell you how excited I am to be coming back "Down Under" this fall! It's hard to believe that the last time I was there was in the late 80's, when I toured with Sammy and Frank in "The Ultimate Event". Of course, my love for your beautiful country started years before, thanks to my dear Peter Allen. What a time we had! He was always so proud to call Australia home!
