Jay-Z will get a second week at number one in the USA this week, according to building sales figures.
Hits Daily Double is clocking Jay-Z ‘Blueprint 3’ with a healthy lead of 3:2 over Whitney Houston ‘I Look At You’ for later this week.Although Muse ‘The Resistance’ pulled huge figures in the UK and Australia this week, US sales predictions have it coming in at around number 5.
Cash Money act Drake is scoring better, with ‘So Far Gone’ expected to make a comfortable Top 5 debut above Muse.
Other acts expected to debut on the American chart later this week are Megadeth ‘Endgame’ and ‘Kid Cudi ‘Man On The Moon: End of the Day’, both in the top 10.
Lil Boosie ‘Superbad: The Return of Boose’ will come in the top 20.
Albums from Trick Daddy, Lady Antebellum, Thrice, Ace Feely, Mark Knopfler and Justin Moore will also crack the top 50.
There will be big drops ahead for The Beatles reissues with ‘Abbey Road, ‘Sgt Pepper’ and ‘The Beatles’ (White album) all falling out of the Top 10 and towards the lower end of the Top 20.
