Madonna is suffering from a bruised cheek after being shoved by paparazzi when she arrived at London's Heathrow Airport on the weekend.
The singer was carrying her new acquisition, the 1 year old African child which she has renamed David.With the high profile caused by the disastrous publicity stunt over the adoption of the baby, Madonna was a prime target for the press at the airport.
Thanks to her publicist Liz Rosenberg, what should have been a wonderful statement in the adoption of the child turned into a publicity nightmare after the publicist denied the truth to media despite confirmation from the authorities in Malawi.
The initial great press about the lovely deed then backfired as it became apparent that Madonna was given special treatment in adopting the child and then picked the boy from a line-up of a dozen kids, like how you would buy a puppy.
The material girl is still trying to milk the press on the Rosenberg publicity disaster, stating that she is glad of the reaction it has caused as it has lifted the profile of adoption.
