Protesters in Ireland have forced U2 to miss the boat.
The rockers are heading for Gothenburg in Sweden after playing three homecoming gigs at Croke Park Stadium in Dublin, Ireland. But there are fears they may have to delay or cancel their gig in the Scandinavian country after protesters angry about noise from the Dublin gigs blockaded a convoy of equipment leaving the stadium.
The protesters are up in arms about the loud noise levels during the three concerts and set up a blockade at the stadium entrance to stop lorries leaving.
And by the time protesters agreed to let them through, the lorries, which are carrying stage, audio and video equipment, had missed the ferry crossing to Sweden.
U2s tour manager Jake Berry said: "It affects the tour schedule. Read that any way you want. We should be on a boat.
"It's really put a damp squib on something which was a fantastic experience and a fantastic show."
