Skyhooks played in Sydney tonight with Jimmy Barnes and Diesel taking the place of the late Shirley Strachan.
The performance was for a good cause ... to honour Michael Gudinski at the Helpmann Awards.Mushroom Records founder and Liberation/Frontier Touring Company boss Michael Gudinski AM was co-recipient of the J.C. Williamson Award for outstanding contribution to the live music industry.
Gudinski received the award from Molly Meldrum.
Earlier tonight it was also announced that Sound Relief, the benefit concert which Michael Gudinski put together with Michael Chugg, Joe Segreto and Mark Pope, took out the award for Best Special Event.
