Sir Paul McCartney was a long overdue guest of Late Night with David Letterman this week. Letterman gave him the whole show. McCartney gave even more.
Paul last played in the theatre for the Ed Sullivan Show more than 40 years ago. This time he gave an extended perform for people on the streets of New York.At the end of the interview, McCartney and band climbed atop of the marquee outside of the Ed Sullivan Theatre at 1697 Broadway.
He sang his solo hit ‘Coming up’, Wings ‘Band On The Run’ and ‘Let Me Roll It’ and The Beatles ‘Helter Skelter’ and ‘Back In The USSR’.
