Singer songwriter Aimee Mann is about to embark on her first Australian tour.
Aimee first graced the Australian charts in ‘Til Tuesday with the 1985 hit ‘Voices Carry’.In 1993 she released her first solo album ‘Whatever’ and followed that up two years later with the more successful ‘I’m With Stupid’.
Aimee has been no stranger to celebrity columns, first with her relationship with songwriter Jules Sheer and then later with songwriter Michael Penn (brother of Sean).
Her biggest solo success was thanks to the movie ‘Magnolia’. Aimee wrote 8 songs for the movie and earned both an Academy Award nomination and Grammy nomination for her work.
Ben Lee will be special guest on the Aimee Mann tour on the Sydney and Melbourne shows.
