If you thought the Michael Jackson memorial this week bought closure to the stories, then think again. The soap opera has just begun.
Jackson’s sister La Toya has been busy talking up her theories to the press. She says that Michael was murdered for his money.La Toya has talked about the “shadowy group of hangers-on who cut him off from family and friends” and claims that more than $1 million in jewellery went missing from the house after his death.
Jackson’s 53-year sister says her brother was “fed on drugs” and was a “cash cow’. She said he was “a meek, quiet, loving person” but was the “loneliest man in the world” with “no real friends”.
“I believe Michael was murdered. I felt that from the start,” she said.
As to who would kill Michael, she says it was a “conspiracy”. “Not just one person was involved rather it was a conspiracy of people,” she claims.
Despite La Toya’s theory, the first thing police ruled out after Jackson’s death was murder.
Meanwhile, Michael’s mother Katherine is said to have struck a deal with Debbie Rowe, the mother of the two eldest children Prince Michael and Paris Katherine.
Katherine is reported to have agreed to allow visitation rights to Debbie to see the kids she had not seen for years as part of her divorce settlement with Michael.
The agreement between the mother and grandmother also excluded the man who really should be called ‘Wacko Jacko’, Michael’s father Joe Jackson from having anything to do with the upbringing of the children.
Joe ‘Wacko Jacko’ Jackson disgusted the world by promoting his business during questions about the death of his son, and then on Friday told MTV he wanted the grandchildren to be in show business.
Michael often talked about how ‘Wacko Jacko’ beat him and his brothers as kids if they did not perform to his liking.
In 2007, Michael said in an interview, “My father would rehearse with a belt in his hand, you couldn’t mess up. I would never get spanked during rehearsals or practice - but afterwards was when I got in trouble.”
Joe ‘Wacko Jacko’ Jackson does not live with his wife Katherine. Instead, he lives his own life in Las Vegas.
