Nine Inch Nails are heading out on the road for the last time ever... we think.
The band will play a run of shows in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles, as well as the Virgin Festival in Toronto, Canada before calling it a day.Deja vu? Well, the band’s recent tour with Janes Addiction was intended to be the last tour, but as Trent Reznor explained on the band’s website, “Upon reflection, the NIN/JA tour felt like we had to rush through sets due to a limited allotted set length and many shows were in daylight - it just didn't feel right to end NIN that way.”
But he did go on to admit that there might be still more shows added.
At the moment the band are on tour in Europe, and have a few shows in Japan and South Korea tacked onto the end of that run.
The final run of shows will be called the “Wave Goodbye” tour.
Exact dates for the final shows aren’t yet known, but Pitchfork report that the band will be playing at the Bowery Ballroom, Webster Hall and Terminal 5 in New York, the Aragon Ballroom, The Wiltern and the Henry Fonda Theater in Chicago and the Palladium and the Echoplex in L.A..
Stay tuned for more details as they come to hand.
