Remember Sugar Ray? They are back together.
Sugar Ray is fronted Mark McGrath and released their first album ‘Floored’ featuring the hit ‘Fly’ in 1997.That led to a featured spot in the movie ‘Father’s Day’ starring Robin Williams and Billy Crystal.
More hits followed. ‘When It’s Over’ and ‘Someday’ made reasonable impact around the world but their last studio album ‘In The Pursuit of Leisure’ didn’t exactly connect with the fans.
Sugar Ray went into hiatus and Mark McGrath went into television. In recent years he had guest appearances on Las Vegas. Law and Order and North Shore. He hosted ‘Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll’ and also served as a guest judge on American Idol.
But now it is back to work for Sugar Ray.
Mark McGrath, Rodney Shepherd, Murphy Karges, Stan Frazier and DJ Homicide have been in the studio and have completed a new album to be called ‘Music For Cougars’.
It will be released on July 21.
