Michael Jackson left everything in his will to his three children and nominated his mother Katherine to be guardian of the children, or in the event of her death, Diana Ross.
Jackson executed the will on July 7, 2002.Jackson’s former wife and mother for his first two children was named in the will as “intentionally omitted”. “I have intentionally omitted to provide for my former wife, DEBORAH JEAN ROWE JACKSON,” the will clearly states.
Michael’s father Joe is not mentioned anywhere in the wife but the singer has provided for six other relatives including his brother Tito’s three sons as “contingent remainder beneficiaries”. That means that in the event of the death of any of the children while still minors their share would go to the beneficiaries.
Jackson’s children are named in the will as:
Prince Michael Jackson, Jr, child, beneficiary under the Michael Jackson Family Trust, Minor DOB: 2-13-1997.
Paris Michael Katherine, child, beneficiary under the Michael Jackson Family Trust, Minor DOB: 4/03/1998.
Prince Michael Joseph Jackson, II, child, beneficiary under the Michael Jackson Family Trust, Minor DOB: 02/21/2002
The Jackson estate has been estimated to exceed $500 million.
