Swedish video game company Mind Ark will launch Planet Michael next year.
The massive multiplayer online role-playing game (like World Of Warcraft or Runescape) will be centred around the music and art of Michael Jackson.
A press release stated that Planet Michael will be “an immersive virtual space themed after iconic visuals drawn from Michael’s music, his life, and the global issues that concerned him.”
In it, players will be able to earn credits by performing Jackson-themed challenges and will be able to collect Jackson merchandise.
Like other games, players will also be able to top up their credits with real money.
All proceeds are slated to go to the Jackson Estate.
