The Rev. Jesse Jackson, acting on behalf of the Jackson family, has confirmed that the family wants a second autopsy of Michael Jackson`s body.
Jackson says the family is not satisfied with the early findings suggesting there is no foul play in the death of Michael and wants to have a second, private autopsy commissioned.Questions remain unanswered about why Michael was given the shot of Demerol one hour before his death and the role played by Dr. Conrad Murray, the doctor who administered the drug, in Michael’s business.
After Jackson’s death, Dr. Murray went into hiding but has since surfaced and has been co-operating with Police.
Prior to Michael Jackson signing a contract to perform in London, he underwent a series of health tests. He passed them all. AEG Live, the concert promoter for Jackson then took out a $100 million life insurance policy in case anything happened to the singer. The insurance company will now have to write AEG Live a very fat cheque.
Funeral arrangements are now underway for the singer who died at his rented home in the Hollywood Hills on Thursday afternoon.
Jackson was 50.
