Former Metallica bass player Jason Newsted has been replaced by Black Crowes Johnny Colt in Rock Star Supernova.
Newsted was forced to bail out of the reality TV show band following a shoulder injury which will keep him out of action for the next nine months.Rock Star Supernova features Motley Crue's Tommy Lee and Guns & Roses Gilbey Clarke as well as TV show winner Lukas Rossi.
Rossi beat Australian contestant Toby Rand in the final show but Rand will support the band on their Australian tour with his Australian group Juke Cartel.
The Rock Star Supernova album will be released on November 21st.
