Jay Bennett Died From OD, Authorities Say

Former Wilco member Jay Bennett has died of an overdose, according to authorities.

AP has reported (via Billboard) that the Champaign County Coroner, Duane Northrup, announced Bennett officially died from an OD of Fentanyl - a drug usually used to treat chronic pain.

Bennett, who was a member of Wilco from 1994 to 2001 was found dead in his home on May 24th, 2009.
