Country music legend Willie Nelson is about to release an album of standards called ‘American Classic’.
The album features duets with Diana Krall and Norah Jones and covers American classics including ‘Fly Me To The Moon’, ‘Baby It’s Cold Outside’ and ‘Always On My Mind’, which has been covered by Nelson before.It will be his second record for Blue Note records, after his Top 20 collaboration with jazz trumpeter Wynton Marsalis called ‘Two Men With The Blues’.
‘American Classic’ will be out on August 28. The track listing is:
