Jeff Lynne of Electric Light Orchestra and Traveling Wilburys fame has produced a few songs for the new Regina Spektor album.
Lynne produced the four songs ‘Blue Lips’, ‘Folding Chair;, ‘Wallet’ and ‘Genius Next Door’ on Spektor’s ‘Far’.Since the break-up of ELO and the Wilbury’s, Jeff Lynne has managed to deliver just one solo album. That was ‘Armchair Theatre’ almost 20 years ago. He is reported to be working on a follow-up to the 19-year old solo debut.
Soviet bon Jewish-American singer Spektor was first noticed on their 4h album ‘Begin To Hope’ in 2006.
‘Far’ will be released in a few weeks. Jacknife Lee (U2) and Mike Elizondo (Eminem) also produced tracks for the album.
