Coldplay's hit 'Clocks' has been given a reworking by members of Buena Vista Social Club.
The project was done to benefit the 'Artist Planet Earth' charity which supports actions towards ending climate change and global warming.The album 'Rhythms Del Mundo' will also feature new treatments of songs by U2, Sting, Kaiser Chiefs, Radiohead, Franz Ferdinand and Jack Johnson.
The album will feature the last recording of Buena Vista Social Club member Ibrahim Ferrer and is the first compilation to feature Arctic Monkeys.
The sessions for the record took place in Cuba between April 2005 and June 2006.
The album will be released on November 18th.
