Eminem says he went back to his hotel after the Bruno stunt at the MTV Movie Awards this week and “laughed uncontrollably for about 3 hours”.
Eminem and Sasha Baron Cohen made worldwide news following the stunt where Cohen’s new gay character Bruno dressed as an angel fell onto Eminem and shoved his arse and nuts in the rapper’s face.On screen, the horrified Eminem stormed out of the awards but it was revealed the next day that the stunt was completely rehearsed.
“Sacha called me when we were in Europe and he had an idea to do something outrageous at the Movie Awards. I'm a big fan of his work so I agreed to get involved with the gag,” Eminem said at rapradar.com.
He said he could not believe the reaction it got the next day. “I'm thrilled that we pulled this off better than we rehearsed it. It had so many people going "nuts" so to speak. Everyone was blowing me up about it,” he said at rapradar.
