Kevin Godley and Lol Crème, the nucleus of 10CC, are midway through recording a new album for release in 2007.
The new material for Godley and Crème will be released under the name GG/06.A sneak preview of the current sound can be heard on the new compilation 'Greatest Hits ... And More' which spans the entire career of various members of the band dating back to The Mindbenders 1966 hit 'A Groovy Kind of Love' through to the pre-10CC release 'Neanderthal Man' under the name Hotlegs and the post 10CC band Wax who scored a a 1987 hit in 'Bridge To Your Heart'.
The two new tracks are 'beautifylloser.com' and 'Son of Man'.
10CC took their name from the average volume of male ejaculation. In the 70's, the band scored a string of hits from 'Rubber Bullets' and 'Donna' at the start of the decade through to 'Dreadlock Holiday' and 'From Rochdale to Ocho Rios' ending off the 70s.
