In an upcoming episode of the show Homer enters the reality talent quest show ‘Springfield’s Got Talent’.The judge is Simon Cowell.
Homer takes to the stage and tells Cowell ‘My name is Homer Simpson, I’m 39 years old and I’ve never been kissed. My dream is to be a great singer like Susan Boyle’.
Apparently Susan Boyle is a big fan of the Simpsons. Her brother Gerald told UK’s Dealine “She does watch the show and she will be chuffed to bits to get a mentions, I’m sure”.
Susan Boyle was an unknown just 6 weeks ago but today is a global sensation.
In the last month, she as appeared on Oprah and Larry King and name-checked in South Park.
The semi-final stage of Britain’s Got Talent will be activated this weekend. Over the next five weeks, we shall see if Susan can make it to another round.
