Ziggy Marley has repositioned his father Bob Marley`s song for children.
Ziggy has produced ‘B Is For Bob’, a collection of his father’s songs redesigned to bridge the gap between Marley music and the new generation of kids.He has taken certain instruments out of the original Bob Marley recordings and added new sounds on eight of the songs "Three Little Birds," "Redemption Song," "Bend Down Low," "Jamming," "Small Axe," "Satisfy My Soul," "Stir It Up" and "High Tide or Low Tide".
"Could You Be Loved," "One Love/People Get Ready," "Lively Up Yourself" and "Wake Up and Live - Pt. 1" were left untouched.
"Me is a common sense man," Bob Marley once said. Ziggy explains, "That mean when me explain things me explain it in a very simple way, that mean if I explain it to a baby the baby will understand too, you know, My father's music spans generations and with B is for Bob we give the youngest their very own Bob Marley record."
The CD will unlock bonus content online for kids to discover more about Bob Marley and it will also give previews of Ziggy’s new kids album ‘Family Time’.
‘B Is For Bob’ will be released in June.
