Phoenix Coming Back To Australia

French band Phoenix Has taken it upon themselves to announce an Aussie tour. They will be in Australia in August.

The French band broadcast two dates at their MySpace site before tackling the Summersonic Festival in Japan. After Japan, they will play the Pukkelpop Festival in Kiewit before heading into the UK to play the V Festival.

They will be touring their new album ‘Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix’ which is due on May 26th.

Phoenix formed in Versailles, France in 1999. The new album was recorded in Paris with Philippe Zdar of Cassius co-producing.

Australian dates are:?
August 3, Melbourne, The Palace
August 5, Sydney, The Enmore
