American author Robert Dean Lurie will tell the story of The Church in ‘No Certainty Attached’.Lurie was given unprecedented access to singer Steve Kilbey who speaks openly about his drug addiction as well the creative process of one of Australia’s greatest bands on the 80s.
The Church formed in Sydney in 1980. From their first album, they delivered a hit in ‘The Unguarded Moment’.
1988 was also a big year for the band. They broke into America with ‘Under The Milky Way’.
Robert Dean Lurie has a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina.
This is his first book.
