Simon Cowell simply does not get the success of Susan Boyle. He is warning her to sing better or she will not win Britain`s Got Talent. Sorry Simon, she has already won.
Britain’s Got Talent is just another of Cowell’s brainless reality shows. It really doesn’t matter.What does matter is for the act to connect with the the audience. Britain’s Got Talent is simply a platform to do that. Boyle has already achieved that.
Simon Cowell likes to huff and puff and keep his “animals” locked in their cages but every now and then one escapes.
What happens if Susan Boyle continues and loses? Absolutely nothing, because the show does not matter and the result does not matter. Susan Boyle already has more than this show can deliver to any winner. Susan Boyle has the connection with the audience.
Right now, she would be better off getting out but then Cowell would just sue her. The ludicrous contracts contestants are forced to sign to enter one of these circus shows is beyond belief. You are literally signing your soul to the devil by entering. Cowell now owns Susan Boyle despite what she decides to do.
Her only way out now is a compromise. She needs to negotiate a deal that allows Cowell to save face and allows herself to record and tour. That will mean that Cowell will benefit off her income for years to come. Sorry Susan, there is no way out of that.
Cowell told Access Hollywood "It could all go horribly wrong now because there's so many other distractions."
"She has four weeks to prepare for the biggest night of her life, which is, she's got to sing better than she sang before," he said.
So what? She’s only going to be judged by a ruthless businessman, an actress and that guy from Donald Trump’s reality show. Their judgement means nothing at all.
