Jimi Hendrix is about to be scene at the Royal Albert Hall ... as graffiti.
Artists have been asked to spray paint a history of the Royal Albert Hall onto its internal walls.An underground floor of the London venue will be covered with murals of performers like Jimi Hendrix, Pavarotti and Frank Sinatra.
The public can visit the Load exhibition for one day only on 22 June. After that, the murals will only be seen by performers using the loading bay entrance.
The works will also document events that have taken place since the Royal Albert Hall opened in 1871, including the first showcase of electric lighting, the suffragette movement, Mohammed Ali's career and Winston Churchill's reign.
The work will all be done by up and coming artists from the UK graffiti scene.
