If cranking up Aerosmith and Metallica through your Guitar Hero was not enough, well prepare for the next band coming to your home console. Guitar Hero Van Halen is the next one on the way.
The news has leaked that Van Halen Guitar Hero is very much in the works.You see, as a game, it needs to be rated. That process was noticed out of Germany when the German Voluntary Monitoring Organization of Entertainment Software posted a listing for an upcoming ‘Guitar Hero headlining Van Halen’.
Also note Activision’s new wording, adding “headlining” to the title which suggests, other acts also on the title but Van Halen as top bill.
That gives it a point of difference from the Aerosmith and Metallica titles and also gives Van Halen a better marketing position.
A date is yet-to-be announced for the release.
