Ronan Keating addressed his fans at Mall Music in Sydney`s Warringah Mall on Saturday and said that “everyone remembers the first album they bought but no-one remembers their first download”.
Keating is Australia talking up his new album 'Songs For My Mother' and spent Saturday at Mall Music to Celebrate Record Store Day Australia with his fans.“Having Ronan appear at Mall Music was one of the best things about Australian Record Store Day,” said Mall Music buyer Cameron Walsh.
“This was the second time Ronan appeared at Mall Music and it was an even greater success than last time with fans soaking up new material from Ronan’s newest as well as singing along to one of Ronan’s greatest - ‘Life Is A Roller Coaster’.”
“Every fan loved the performance and would’ve had him stay till dawn if they had there way. They couldn’t get enough posters, slicks, and albums signed.
The atmosphere was amazing surrounding the performance - with avid fans coming all the way from places such as Perth just to see Ronan!”.
Thousands of music fans went back into record stores across Australia on Saturday for Record Store Day Australia.
Hundreds turned out for Cheech & Chong and Russell Morris in Melbourne. Alex Lloyd performed in Perth, Wes Carr rocked Leading Edge, Warriewood and Troy Cassar-Daley and The Gin Club played at stores in Brisbane.
