April 21st is Record Store Day. Last year it was a day of goodtimes at Basement Discs in Melbourne. And this year looks like it will be even better.
Having just read the instore lineup for April 21, I'll be heading down for sure. Basement Discs will be presenting live performances all day long from some of Melbourne's finest artists including LISA MILLER, CHRIS WILSON, JEFF LANG, CHARLES JENKINS, MIKELANGELO, ALISON FERRIER, THE CARTRIDGE
FAMILY (Suzannah Espie, Sarah Carroll & Rusty Rich), SAINT JUDE (members of Little John & Downhills Home) THE SPOILS DUO and more...
MC duties will be handled by BRIAN NANKERVIS (of Rockwiz Fame), DEREK GUILLE (ABC radio), MIKELANGELO & RUSTY RICH (ex Scared Weird Little Guys). There will also be some very special limited Record Store Day releases on CD and/or vinyl.
The festivities kick off around 11am with the store opening at 10am. Do what Dave Graney told ya'll.
