Brisbane three-piece Numbers Radio is a down and dirty guitar, bass and drums rock and roll band.
Dave Orr, Robbie Clayton and Mark Henman conjure up sounds from the 70s in the songs you can hear at their MySpace page.‘Boring’ has an early Alice Cooper feel to it. ‘Come On’, the most played of the songs at their MySpace sits somewhere between Deep Purple and Status Quo.
This is a band thats done a bit of work on getting their name out there. Check out the video for ‘Come On’. It features some nice work from director David Barker.
There is a lot of experience behind Numbers Radio. Between them, the guys have been in Resin Dogs, Blowhard, Afro Dizzi Act and Hip Pocket.
They released ‘Come On’ independently on Valley Trash Records and grabbed a good dose of publicity when they were Unearthed by Triple J.
