Jet have unveiled the first track from their forthcoming third album.
‘K.I.A. (Killed In Action)’ once again channels U2 channeling The Beatles. There is a bit of a ‘Helter Skelter’ sound on ‘K.I.A.’. U2 covered the song on ‘Rattle and Hum’. The original Beatles song was on ‘The White Album’.A title and release date for the Jet album is yet to be confirmed although the band’s website now lists it as coming soon.
The last Jet album was ‘Shine On’ in 2006. It reached no. 3 in Australia and no. 16 in the USA.
The debut album ‘Get Born’ was released on 2003. It reached no. 1 in Australia and no. 26 in the USA.
