Wes Carr will be doing the rounds of record stores in Sydney this Saturday for Record Store Day Australia and tomorrow morning (April 15) will be joining me to talk about it on 9am on Channel 10 with David Reyne and Christi Malthouse.
This Saturday (April 18) is the first annual Record Store Day Australia.401 record stores all over the country will be featuring artists such as Wes Carr, Ronan Keating, Jessica Mauboy, Natalie Bassingthwaite, Adam Harvey, Amber Lawrence, Troy Cassar-Daley, Alex Llloyd, Pez, Cassette Kids, Cassie Davis, Mark Chasin & The Lil’ Husseys, Russell Morris, Little Birdy, Scissor File, Texas Tea, The Gin Club, Jon Stevens, Wendy Matthews, Jaywalker and Dave Gleeson.
The record store is a place of discovery and that is what Record Store Day Australia is all about, the discovery of music.
On Saturday, Wes will be at Leading Edge Music, Warriewood at 10am, Leading Edge Music, Carlingford at noon, Sanity Blacktown at 1.30pm and JB Hi-Fi Parramatta at 3pm.
I’ll be on 9am with Wes tomorrow at 10.30am.
