Did you see Simon Cowell`s face when Susan Boyle sang on Britain`s Got Talent over the weekend? He was stunned, and so was the audience.
Susan Boyle looks nothing like a star. The 47-year old unemployed who admits to having never been kissed performed ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ from Les Miserables on the show.She said she lives at home with her cat named Pebbles and has never been married. I’ve never been married, never been kissed. Shame. But that’s not an advert, she said before going on stage.
She says she has been singing since she was 12 and always wanted to perform in front of a large audience. I am going to make that audience rock, she said.
When she came on stage, the audience thought it must have been a joke but she had confidence. She said the dream is to be a professional singer. When Simon Cowell asked her why it has never worked out before she said because I have never been given the chance.
In 2007, opera singer Paul Potts came from left field to win Britain's Got Talent.
