It has been six years since the murder of actress Lana Clarkson and music producer Phil Spector has finally been found guilty of the crime.
Spector has been convicted of second-degree murder for the fatal shooting of Lana Clarkson at his Hollywood home on February 3, 2003.Spector, famous for his work for The Beatles (Let It Be), Ike and Tina Turner (River Deep Mountain High) and his signature Wall of Sound, now faces 18-years in jail.
His defense claimed Clarkson pulled the trigger and died from her own hand. They said she was depressed because he career had not taken off and committed suicide after a heavy night of drinking.
However, the court heard how Spector played a macabre game of Russian Roulette with women where he would put one bullet in a chamber and shoot. Five women testified that it had happened to them. Clarkson was the unlucky one.
This was the second time Spector faced court for the murder. The first trail ended in a deadlock.
