Wes Carr has his Saturday organized. He will spend the day in Sydney visiting Record Stores as part of Record Store Day Australia.
Carr will start the day at Leading Edge Music in Warriewood at 10am, then head to Leading Edge Music at Carlingford at midday, Sanity, Blacktown at 1.30pm and finish up at JB Hi-Fi in Parramatta at 3pm.401 record stores across Australia will take part in the first Record Store Day Australia on April 18.
Ronan Keating will at a Mall Musis, Warringah Mall, Wendy Matthews will be signing her new album at Songland in Tuggeranong, Cheech & Chong and Little Birdy will be at JB Hi-Fi in Melbourne, Russell Morris is at JB Hi-Fi at Eastland and Troy Cassar-Daly will be at JB Hi-Fi in Ipswich.
The day is a great reminder that $9 out of every $10 spent on music in Australia is still spent in record stores.
