19-year old Taylor Swift has won the Album of the Year award at the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, held on Sunday might in Nashville.
The singer, who recently returned from her first visit to Australia, is now officially the youngest artist ever to win the prestigious award.She also won two other awards where she was honored as both an artists and a producer.
"I put absolutely everything I have into this album," Swift said last night of Fearless. "These are songs I wrote in my bedroom. I worked on this album for two years, and I can't believe my name was called! Getting to write every song on an album and having it voted album of the year is an indescribable honor."
At the event of Sunday, Swift was given another accolade. She became the forth artist to receive the Outstanding Achievement in Country Music.
So what is next for Taylor Swift? She is going on tour. Her first ever headlining show will start on April 23 in Evansville, Indiana.
