The Lemonheads have a covers album on the way with some unusual songs and one unusual voice.
On ‘Varshons’ coming in June, the band cover songs by Leonard Cohen through to Linda Perry. (Linda wrote the Christina Aguilera hit ‘Beautiful’ which is given The Lemonheads treatment).On Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hey, That’s No Way To Say Goodbye’, Liv Tyler gets into a sing-a-long mood.
Kate Moss sings as well. You will here her on ‘Dirty Robot’.
Have you ever heard of Sam Gopel? Me either but they do Sam Gopel’s ‘Yesterlove’. Sam Gopel was the band Lemmy from Motorhead was in before Motorhead.
