Green Day’s eagerly awaited ‘21st Century Breakdown’ album will be released on May 15th.
The new album is divided into three acts, ‘Heroes and Cons’, ‘Charlatans and Saints’ and ‘Horsehoes and Handgrenades’.The band started working on the follow-up to 2004’s ‘American Idiot’ back in 2006.
Garbage’s Butch Vig (Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana) has produced the album.
The first track we will hear from the album is titled ‘Know Your Enemy’.
Other songs on the album are ’21 Guns’, ‘East Jesus Nowhere’, ‘Before The Lobotomy’ and ‘Restless Heart Syndrome’.
