Spandau Ballet, the band named after the Berlin suburb (just Spandau, not the ballet part...) are getting back together to bring their new romantic blend of yacht-rock to the world once again.
“The boys are back in town and we can't wait,” lead singer Tony Hadley said. “It's going to be brilliant, we're very excited, but it will be very different.“There will be all the hits, the nostalgia, but there will also be a new take on what Spandau Ballet are about,” Britain’s Independent Daily reported him as saying.
The band is expected to announce details of their world tour tomorrow (Wednesday, 25/3/09), so you’ll just have to wait to see if your city is going to be graced by the band that had such hits as ‘True’ and ‘Gold’.
