Josh Pyke returned to SXSW to play for at the Aussie BBQ this week.
When he last played the Austin music conference he went on after Amy Winehouse. Josh didn’t recall Amy being there as he says in this interview, but she was.Undercover’s Tim Cashmere had a chat with Amy after her show. The link to that interview is below. As it turned out, the Undercover Amy Winehouse interview is to this day the only interview she has ever done for Australia and one of the rare interviews she has done in the last two years.
I recall Amy finishing an amazing acoustic set at lunchtime. I don’t remember who was scheduled to play after her but whoever it was was the one who didn't turn up.
Josh who was scheduled to play at the party at 4.30pm that day was bumped up to 2pm, right after Amy.
