Post War Years hail from a place called Leamington Spa in the middle of England. I saw them for the first time, in fact heard of them for the first time, last night when they played at the British Music Embassy at SXSW in Austin.
What an interesting band. Think Talking Heads meets British 80s electronica.Post War Years have been around for about a year. You’ll hear lots of bass, samples, beats synth rolled into melody in their indie sound.
Post War Years will play the Levis/Fader party this afternoon and at Friends in Austin at midnight tonight.
