Australia is yet to see the Eagles ‘Long Road Out of Eden’ tour but may get the chance around November.
In an interview with Cleveland.com, Eagles founder Don Henley said , “this tour will likely continue into 2010. We are doing an extensive European tour this summer. After that, we still have to cover the western U.S., plus Japan, Australia, New Zealand ? the Pacific Rim ? but when it finally does end, I will probably record another solo album or two”.The Eagles last toured Australia in 2004 and filmed the ‘Farewell 1’ DVD in Melbourne.
In 2007, the band released ‘Long Road Out Of Eden’, its first album since ‘The Long Run’ 28 years earlier. In fact, it might be another 28 years until we hear another Eagles album. “There are currently no plans for any future Eagles projects beyond this world tour,” he said. “I'd say the chances of us making another album together are 50-50”.
Eagles Australian dates are expected to be announced soon.
