Noel Gallagher not only loves Coronation Street, he wants to be in it.
The Oasis star said he would love to appear on the show and would be interested in replacing the David Platt character if he ever got "bumped off".On hearing about the guitarist's comment, a spokesman for the show suggested that the door could be open for him to appear.
They said: "We're thrilled Noel watched us thinks we're cool."
He added that it was "too early to say" whether he would ever make an appearance, but refused to confirm or deny that it could be a genuine possibility.
