Michael Jackson's website came to a stand still following his press conference announcing his tour this week.
The site, michaeljacksonlive.com, has been receiving thousands of hits by fans looking for information about next Wednesday's pre-sale.Lots of fans are complaining they cannot register or receive a confirmation email.
A spokesman for AEG Live said: "The site is receiving 16,000 requests per second, so demand is extremely high, phenomenal is an understatement."
Tickets for the 10 date residency at the O2 Arena in London go on general sale on March 13 but most fans do not want to wait that long to get their hands on the sought-after tickets.
Fans can also register to buy tickets via the pre-sale by texting 'MJ' to 81707.
