The Gold Coast is the 2nd of the 6 Big Day Outs to sell out, with the others not far behind.
As with Sydney, the promoters have kept aside a little stash of tickets, in this case 5000, which will be made available via ballot.Tickets will cost $125 and only be available through www.bigdayout.com. There will be 500 tickets drawn randomly every Thursday from Thursday 26th October to Thursday 28th December.

Organisers have been forced to slowly release tickets over time due to the rise in scalping.
Auction sites such as eBay are currently advertising tickets to both the Sydney and Gold Coast Big Day Out's for more than double the face value of the ticket.
Just remember before you get sucked into paying double, these events are not sold out, there will be more tickets available through the ballot system.
