When Rick Rosas is not the bass player for Neil Young, you will find him on Monday nights with Waddy Wachtel in a band they call ... well, the Waddy Wachtel Band.
The Waddy Wachtel Band features a whole lot of homeless musos, homeless in the sense that their home on the road is off the road.The Waddy Wachtel Band features some of LA’s hottest musicians including Bernard Fowler from the Rolling Stones band.
What you never know is who you are going to get.
Over the years Roger Daltrey, Brian Johnson, George Thorogood, Joe Walsh, Neil Young, Robert Plant and Keith Richards happened to be in town and made their way into the band.
The band plays most Mondays at Joe’s Joint in Pico Blvd, West Hollywood from last weeks show.
