Natalie Imbruglia has recruited Chris Martin for her next album.
The Australian singer joined forces with the Coldplay frontman on a "string of tracks" for her fourth studio album.Martin wrote some songs for the former Neighbours actress while taking a break from his band's studio earlier this month.
Imbruglia, 34, revealed late last year that she was in the finishing stages of recording the new album.
She said: "It has taken longer than I would have hoped to get to this point - I will spare you the gory details - but it feels very good to be in a position of control and being able to decide how this record will be delivered to the world."
Her last album, Counting Down The Days, released in 2005, debuted at number one on the UK album charts.
Her debut album, Left Of The Middle, was released in 1997 to critical acclaim and received a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album, but lost out of Madonna's Ray of Light.
