Guy Sebastian is the latest celebrity to become a Twit, a person who uses social networking tool Twitter.
Being a twit is not a bad thing. Bowie is one, Coldplay do it, so do I.Sebastian loaded up his Twitter account last week and is now reporting his thoughts from the road.
So what is new in Guy world? Well, for starters he has a tattoo. “It’s a phoenix and its on my left arm ... hurt like hell,” he twittered in his first post on January 24.
On January 26 he went to see Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings. Not bad, not bad at all. A little Jonesy always adds to the cred.
On January 28 he says he recorded a new song called ‘All To Myself’. On January 30 he says he wrote a new song called ‘The Only Girl In Town’.
On February 1, he was in Burbank. (Guy, try Mo’s or Bob’s Big Boy. I know it's a difficult decision but make the choice).
Feb 4 - there’s quite a few songs up the sleeve now. ‘Coming Home’, ‘Only Girl In Town’, ‘Like It Like That’ and ‘Private Number’ are down. ‘Private Number is a cover of the William Bell song (that’s only dose of cred uploaded).
There is something about John Mayer needing his band back and then yesterday we hear a few more songs are in the oven. They are ‘Never Hold You Down’ and ‘Bring Yourself’.
Guy is keeping busy in the USA and the next album is well on the way.
